In order to transfer your domain hosting to Perth Web Hosting, we require a domain transfer password, also known as an EPP code. In most cases this can be retrieved by logging into the current domain hosts website. In some cases however this may not be possible.
In this type of situation we can retrieve your EPP code directly through the Australian Domain Administration (AuDA).
In order for us to follow this process, the following requirements must be met.
- You must have access to the email address that the domain was registered under.
- The Domain must be registered under your name.
If you are unsure about these details, you can check using the Whois lookup tool.
Go to the following link: https://whois.auda.org.au/
Enter your domain into the lookup address box and click submit.
The registrant contact name and registrant contact email are the pieces of information we are primarily concerned with.

Once the domain registrant details have been confirmed we can begin the password retrieval process.
To begin the process, go to the following url https://pw.auda.org.au/
- You will need to enter the domain without www or https.
- Then enter your full name.
- Complete the recaptcha and click recover.
This will now send an email to the registrant contact email address. This email will contain a link to your domain password, however it is important to note that the link can only be used once and then will stop working. To ensure a smooth transition we recommend letting Perth Web Hosting open the link and retrieve the password.

Once we have the domain transfer password we can submit the transfer of your domain.
For .com.au address this process takes 48 hours.
