In this article we will describe the steps to update the password for your Microsoft 365 account.
1.To begin, open a browser and go to https://www.office.com/
In the top right hand corner select the Sign In option. You will be prompted for your current email address and password.
2. Once you have logged in, select the cog icon located in the top right hand corner.
3. After clicking the cog icon you should be presented with the settings options below.
Under the Password heading select Change your password.
4. You will now be prompted to enter your old (current) password, followed by your new password.
You will need to ensure that your password meets minimum strength requirements.
5. Once you are happy with your new password, select submit.
6. After resetting your password, we recommend that you update your password on any applications or devices where the previous password had been saved.
