This article is a guide to set up cPanel (IMAP or POP3) email account on Microsoft Outlook 2010.
1. Open up Outlook 2010.
2. Select File, then on the left-hand menu, click Info.
3. Click Add Account.
4. The Add New Account Setup Wizard should appear.
5. Select Manually configure server settings or additional server types and then click Next.
6. Under Choose Service, select “Internet E-mail”, and click Next
7. Here you will need to enter the following settings:
User Information
Your Name: Enter your name
Email Address: Enter your full email address (e.g. joe@yourdomain.com.au)
Account Type: Select IMAP (recommended settings, unless you require POP3).
Incoming mail server: mail.yourdomain.com.au (Replace yourdomain.com.au with your actual domain name)
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.com.au (Replace yourdomain.com.au with your actual domain name)
Logon Information
User Name: Enter your full email address (e.g. joe@yourdomain.com.au)
Password: Enter your password.
Please note that the incoming and outgoing hostname can be the same on our platform.
8. Continue and click the More Settings button.
9. In the window that appears choose the Outgoing Server tab.

10. Now click on the Advanced tab.
11. Change both the Use the following type of encrypted connection settings to SSL.
12. Under Incoming Server, if you have selected IMAP, enter 993; if you have selected POP3 enter 995.
Under Outgoing server (SMTP): enter 465

13. Click OK, then click Next.
A window will come up to test the account settings. If the test is successful, click Close. If the test fails, please check all your account settings (including your username and password) and try again.
14. Outlook will now complete setting up the account. Click Finish to finish the wizard.
Your email account has been added to Outlook.
Accessing your emails via Webmail
Webmail enables you to access your email account at any computer or devices. Enter the below URL in your web browser:
- webmail.yourdomain.com.au (replace yourdomain.com.au with your actual domain/website)
