Earlier versions – iOS (Pre 7) using Mail app on iPhones and iPads

This guide will show you how to setup your email on your iPhone / iPad Devices.

 
  1. Open Settings.

  2. Scroll down and tap on MAIL, CONTACTS AND CALENDARS.

  3. Tap on Add Account.

  4. Scroll down and tap on Other.

  5. Tap on Add Mail Account.

  6. Enter the details below:

    Name:
    your full name (i.e John Paul)
    Email: your full email address.
    Password: your password that was setup in cPanel.
    Description: The displayed description of your email account.


  7. Click on Next (up the top), it will take up to 10 seconds to look up your account information.


  8. On the next screen, please enter the following details:

    Incoming Mail Server
    Hostname: mail.yourdomainname.com.au (Please ensure you replace ‘yourdomain.com’ with your actual domain)
    Username: your full email address.
    Password: your password that was setup in cPanel.

    Outgoing Mail Server
    Hostname
    : mail.yourdomainname.com.au (Please ensure you replace ‘yourdomain.com’ with your actual domain)
    Username: your full email address.
    Password: your password that was setup in cPanel.

  9. Continue and select the following:
    • Mail – On
    • Notes – Off
  10. Click on Save. It may take up to 1 minute to add an account.
    If you get a certificate warning, PLEASE PRESS CONTINUE. After this, you will arrive back at MAIL, CONTACTS AND CALENDARS
  1. CLICK ON your new account which was added.

  2. Click on Account (your full email address)

  3. SCROLL down to SMTP and TAP SMTP (mail.yourdomainname.com.au)

  4. Tap primary server (mail.yourdomainname.com.au On)

  5. Make sure SSL is ON

  6. Authentication is your Password

  7. Server port is 465

  8. Click on Done (up the top of screen)

  9. Then press Account (up the top of screen)

The last thing you need to do is the following:

1. Tap on advanced (Scroll down to bottom of screen.

2. Scroll down to incoming Setting.

3. Turn on SSL.

4. Authentication is your password.

5. Then click on Account.

6. You can now click on Done (up the top) and you should be able to send and receive your email.
