Yes, every database on our server is included as part of the regular JetBackup backups that run and are retained for up to 31 days, depending on your hosting plan. - Can I restore a backup of my MySQL Database?
To restore a MySQL database backup, Log in to cPanel and Navigate to the JetBackup 5 within the Files section. - To restore a MySQL database using JetBackup in cPanel, follow these steps:
Click on “Databases”
Navigate to the Database you want to restore and click on the row, which should turn orange.If you wish to recover the database at a particular time, you need to click “Choose Other Backup” and select the time from the dropdown menu to restore the database. You can choose to restore one or more databases.
Once selected, you can restore the database by clicking the restore button below the database list.
A restore summary will appear, and you need to confirm the restore. If you are happy, click the restore button to confirm. Your database will then be retrieved from our offsite backup server and restored to your chosen date. During a restore, your website linked to the database will go down whilst the process is happening. The restore can take minutes, depending on the size of the database. In most cases, most WordPress site databases are restored in as little as a minute.
You may need to recover or recreate the MySQL database user. Restoring a database may unlink the MySQL Database user. You can initiate another JetBackups 5 restore or recreate the user and the user permissions via MySQL Databases.
