What is an FTP program is used for
Filezilla serves as a direct access to your web server, facilitating seamless file transfers, including uploads, downloads, and file removal from your hosting account. Furthermore, this software empowers you to execute concurrent uploads and downloads, potentially delivering faster task completion compared to relying on the web-based file manager within cPanel.
In some cases, when you have no free space in your account and want a local copy of your files, you may want to use the FTP program to copy the files over to your local machine. Once you have downloaded the files and you confirm these files are stored on your machine, you can safely remove the files off the server.
