To login to your cPanel account, you can login via
- https://yourdomain.com.au/cpanel (your actual domain) or;
- via MyToolbox.
Your cPanel username and password would have been sent to you in the email when you signed up with us, subject titled “New Account Information“. If you have misplaced this email, please contact us and we are happy to resend you this email.

Overview
This interface allows you to protect specific directories in your cPanel accounts files. After you enable this feature for a directory, when users attempt to view that directory via a website the system prompts them to log in.
1. Log into cPanel using either of the methods outlined above.
2. Under the Files section, click Directory Privacy.

Select a directory
To use this interface, click the desired directories name
To view and select subdirectories, click the parent directories name, and then click the desired subdirectory name.
To configure the security settings for a directory or subdirectory, click Edit under the Actions column.
Security Settings
1. To password protect the selected directory, select the checkbox next to Password protect this directory.
2. Enter a display label for the directory in the text box labelled Enter a name for this protected directory.
3. Click Save. A confirmation message will appear. Click Go Back to return to the directory’s configuration.
Note: To remove password protection, simply repeat the above steps but deselect the checkbox next to Password protect this directory and then click Save.
Create User
To create an authorized user for the selected directory, perform the following steps:
1. Enter the desired username in the Username text box.
2. Enter and confirm the new password in the appropriate text boxes.
3. Click Save
Some web hosts require a minimum password strength.
A green strength meter indicates that the password is equal to or greater than the required password strength.
Alternatively you can click the Password Generator to generate a strong password.
Authorized Users
The Authorized Users menu lists the directories existing authorized users. To delete a user, select that user and click Delete User. A confirmation message will appear.
Click Go Back to return to the directories configuration.
